“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I but the grace of God that is with me.” 1 Cor. 15:10

Pressing on toward the goal   (August, 2018)

Dear Partners in Mission,

I can’t believe that fall is just around the corner! It’s crazy how the summer flies by. This past month, I felt like I’ve had more of a “backseat” position and been a witness to the work that God is doing. I think God does that sometimes.

As I seek partners, because that’s what I’m meant to be doing, I find people caring for loved ones who are coming into the autumn/winter season of their lives. I find people gathering, small groups that are dedicated to growing in the word, praying and supporting one another no matter where life/God is leading them. I find a church discipling and baptizing people from age 7 to 57 with each testimony pointing to the work of the Holy Spirit weaving the significance of the gospel in each heart! “Jesus is my Savior,” they say. Wow! Praise God! It has been a humbling month of witnessing and praising God for what he’s doing in the lives of people around me.

It’s so easy to zero in to my own situation and forget that there’s a bigger picture of the Kingdom of God and what he’s doing. That in the midst of pain and sorrow–he is there, giving peace and comfort! In the midst of the joys of life, watching kids grow, learning about the world around them–he is there, laughing and interested in what new discoveries are being made. In the midst of getting up, making coffee, getting dressed, going to work, etc. etc.–he is there, even in the mundane, everyday stuff, whispering, “Here I am, notice me! See what I’m doing?! Will you be a part of it? My grace is sufficient for you.”

What is God leading you in today? What is he speaking to you? Whatever it is, I will pray that you will open your heart to the grace God will shower on you to be and/or do all that he is weaving in, calling, leading you to be and do for him and the glory of his name.

And again, thank you for your prayers, patience, and presence in this journey to see the fulfillment of the call God has placed on my life! I could not do any of it with out you!

With Love of Christ,

Anna Rosengren

03 Journey

Praises and Prayers:
**I had to move out of the house I’ve been rooming in for the past two years. It was a good base to be at for the time I had there. I’m thankful to be moved into another house, with my own room, for the rest of the time I will be in the States!
**I will be going to Seattle from Sept. 15th to Oct. 5th. Pray for a productive time of reconnecting and connecting with people while I’m out there.
